ADM finds five trends shaping the food industry

CHICAGO — Behavioral and societal changes spurred by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will impact the way consumers eat and drink in the new year, according to Archer Daniels Midland Co.

Drawing on research from its OutsideVoice consumer insights platform, the company’s top trends for 2021 are shaped by heightened stress and anxiety, shifting priorities, changes in social connectivity and more holistic approaches to health and wellness.

Height-boosting protein drink launches in Asia

After successfully launching in the U.S., Israeli brand Nutritional Growth Solutions introduced its Healthy Height protein shake to the Asia-Pacific market. Alongside the product launch came a successful IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange where the company secured AUD$7 million. Since October, share prices have jumped up to 75% in value.
